Axel Pajunk advises clients on all commercial and corporate law matters, primarily in connection with the acquisition, sale or merger of enterprises (M&A).

He specialises in advising clients on the structuring and implementation of national and cross-border M&A transactions, including those that involve tender offers (auctions). In addition, Axel Pajunk regularly advises on takeovers, joint ventures and corporate restructurings (e.g. mergers of companies and carve-outs – i.e. split-offs and demergers, spin-offs of company assets), also within large corporations.

His clients include domestic and international entrepreneurs, founding partners and companies as well as financial investors (private equity funds) and/or their respective supervisory and management bodies.

Axel Pajunk has represented private and public multinational corporations as well as owners of large and medium-sized partnerships of the German “Mittelstand” in the chemicals and automotive industries, and in the areas of information technology, wholesale and retail trade as well as the real-estate industry.

In addition, Axel Pajunk provides comprehensive advice to clients on all commercial and corporate law matters (corporate housekeeping) and also coordinates various other contract-related fields, such as industrial property law (IT and intellectual property law), labour law, compliance and tax law.

Axel Pajunk is the author of various articles on legal issues and has written chapters for books on limited-liability companies and employee participation (e.g. in the first edition of the Munich Attorney’s Handbook on Stock Corporations).

Previous activities

  • From 2003 to 2016, Axel Pajunk was a partner in the Corporate/M&A division of the U.S. law firm WHITE & CASE LLP in Frankfurt am Main.
  • From 1997 to 2003, Axel Pajunk worked in Munich for two other international law firms (since 2001 as a partner) with a strong focus on venture capital and private equity.
